1950-2024

Dennis Wayne Heath, age 73, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away on April 30, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Dennis was born on December 3, 1950, in Topeka, Kansas, to Delbert and Ethel (Givens) Heath.

Dennis joined the United States Air Force shortly after high school, where he served his country with honor and dedication. He then worked at Hallmark Cards, Inc. Warehouse, and pursued his passion for photography, becoming a professional in the field. He was a proud member of the Professional Photography Association of Kansas.

Dennis’s love for his family was a cornerstone of his life. He was known for his great sense of humor and love of pranks, always finding a way to bring laughter into their lives. He was a loyal fan of the University of Kansas basketball team and the Kansas City Chiefs, often sharing these passions with his loved ones. In 2017, he married Mary Ann Borgren in a beautiful ceremony at Niagara Falls, and they moved to Edmond, Oklahoma, in 2022. Both Dennis and Mary Ann found solace and community at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of the home, son David Graf and wife Dawn of Silver Lake, Kansas, daughter Tera Randall and husband Mark of Spring Hill, Kansas daughter, Sarah Phillips and husband Ronnie “Chubbo” of Guthrie, Oklahoma, son Matt Adams and wife Kara of Topeka, Kansas, sister Debra “Debbie Ann” Hensley and husband Anthony of Topeka, Kansas, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild on the way. Dennis is also survived by his furbabies: Buddy, Harley, Bella, and Clyde the Cat. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Ethel Heath, and his wife, Donna, in 2015.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Summit View Cemetery (1808 N. Pine St., Guthrie, OK 73044) with Deacon Frank Alexander officiating.
